THRUMMING - CREATIVITY & HEALING
Written by Greg Whitt Thursday, 16 July 2009 00:00
I’ve just learned a new term:
THRUMMING - the mix of therapeutic and drumming!
I think of it as smooth grooves, rhythm to sooth the soul, music that matters and flatters and smatters of great things!
This summer marks a lot of milestones for us - I’ve just moved, Annelies has traveled to Crete, we’ve just worked with 35 kids from Taiwan to share the joys of rhythm. We’re also kicking off two new classes that will incorporate thrumming into the curriculum: CreativitySpark is a four week workshop that explores ways to expand creativity through a series of exercises including but not limited to guided visualization, intuitive drawing, intuitive writing, storytelling, play, sound and movement. We will touch on all six senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell and intuition.
Through our work together you will ...
- ~ Spark creativity, imagination and intuition
- ~ Clear out creative blocks and fear of failure
- ~ Develop a daily practice to nourish creative connection
- ~ Work collaboratively and independently
Find inspiration in the world around you
- ~ Discover and use images from the unconscious
- ~ Complete a project of your choice
- ~ Receive one-on-one creativity coaching
- ~ Ignite your inherent human potential and life path
