Drum for Change is winding out October with fantastic events in corporate team-building, charitable causes, and educational programming! I'm connecting throughout the region to bring rhythm-based programming across the spectrum. Details below!
This weekend I'll be rejoining my pal Scott Swimmer to bring drumSTRONG to TEDx Charlotte! We'll be bringing the message to beat cancer at Queens University. Joining us is pal Dave Holland of Beatin Path Rhythm Events in Atlanta and together we'll be rocking it for the local-version of these famed Technology, Education, and Design conferences.
Of course third Monday's mark the Lake Johnson Jam with Raleigh Parks & Recreation and the Raleigh Drum Circle that I founded (nine years ago last month!!!) with great support from a wonderful community of drummers here in the Triangle.

EVERYONE IS INVITED to the United Arts Council's Regional Artist Project Grant Showcase Exhibition where I'll be presenting the story of my $8 hoe from Cuba! The following weekend I'll be conduct a healthRHYTHMS session at a cancer wellness retreat with my friends Shannon Carney and Dave Pschirer at their most-wonderful Windriver Retreat Center in Tryon, NC. Fall colors here I come!!! We'll be putting in action good vibes for good lives!
Winding it out in October is the Annual NC WIC conference - a morale-boosting, team-building, stress-busting, unifying, corporate energizer for 225 people! Top that off with Follow the Child Montessori School's Fall Family Picnic and finally CROP WALK RALEIGH.
Be on the lookout for a new conga class coming in November. This will probably be a six week series on Tuesday nights. More info coming soon! Space is limited, so shout if you're interested....
