Beat Poetry Night

Friday, January 22 marked Conduit Center for Creative Change & Drum for Change’s first beat poetry night.  Nine poets read, and much of it was original work.  We also laced the event with video clips of some classics by Ferlinghetti, Kerouac, and Bukowski.  There was much clamor about a repeat event, so we’re considering reopening this space of potential.  Many thanks to all who made this such a wonderful evening!  Huge thanks to Jay Bell for sound and Annelies Gentile for photos!
